On Friday, Montessori Magnet School (MMS) students highlighted two tenets imperative in their building on a regional stage: peer teaching and educational technology! MMS tech coach Kim McDonough, district tech coach Sooyun McCoy and a group of fourth graders attended the 36th Annual Regional Technology Awareness Day, sponsored by the Northeastern Regional Information Center (NERIC), at the Albany Capital Center. The conference brought together students, educators and vendors to promote innovations in education technology and provided collaboration on how schools can use advances to enhance instruction and streamline school district operations.
