The Sterling Gospel Music Awards is marking a decade of celebrating excellence in gospel music with a major format change. Founder and executive director Basillia Barnaby-Cuff announced at the launch on Thursday at the R Hotel in New Kingston that the 2026 staging moves from a live ceremony to a national television broadcast on Television Jamaica, expanding the awards’ reach beyond the traditional venue.
