Cabell County residents convicted in false swearing case

Jan Hite King and Kimberly Maynard have been convicted of one count each of false swearing in connection with violations of West Virginia election law, West Virginia Secretary of State Kris Warner announced Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2026. The two women ran for election to the Cabell County Commission during the May 2022 primary.
