1,000s in east Bend warned to shelter in place; manhunt finds deceased ‘armed and dangerous’ attempted murder suspect

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) – Thousands of east Bend residents and those just outside the city received two  “shelter in place” alerts Wednesday night about an armed and dangerous attempted murder, assault and kidnap suspect and St. Charles Bend was placed in lockout status for a time, officials said. Authorities later said he’d been found deceased.
