Vietnam interested in BRICS membership expansion: Foreign Ministry

BRICS was established in 2009 with 4 founding members: Brazil, Russia, India, China. In 2024, five countries in the Middle East-Africa region—Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Iran, and Ethiopia—became official members.
