Antitrust Law Continues Its Turn in the Spotlight

The year 2024 has been a momentous year in antitrust, reflecting the Biden administration’s views on robust antitrust enforcement. Among the highlights, the Federal Trade Commission in April announced a new rule banning noncompete provisions and in October issued sweeping changes to premerger notification (HSR) rules.
