Tata Steel Global Chief Executive and UK Chief Executive to give evidence on company’s decision to close blast furnaces in Port Talbot – Committees

On Wednesday 31 January, the Welsh Affairs Committee will be holding morning and afternoon evidence sessions scrutinising the decision by Tata Steel to close its blast furnaces in Port Talbot as it moves towards greener steelmaking in the UK. The move could lead to just under 3,000 people losing their jobs at the Port Talbot site.
