City of Longview reminds residents about state laws regarding pets outside during cold weather

“We go into a time when we have weather warnings, whether we’re in the top end of it with extreme heat, or whether we’re on the low end of it with freezing rain, freezing temperatures like we just had. You’re supposed to move your animal into an area where it’s out of those elements,” Longview Animal Services Manager Chris Kemper said.
